Go Local Jewelry Trunk Show

Super excited for the Go Local Jewelry Trunk Show this weekend!  The two day event, which is part of the dmg summer series, runs on Fri 11-7pm and Sat 10-6pm.  Meet the three jewelers, Ananda Khalsa, Rachel Atherley, and Liz Ryan and see their extended collections.  Each will have a case full of beautiful handcrafted earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings!

For an added excitement, we are giving away three gorgeous pieces selected by the artists themselves.  Enter to win a pair of earrings by both Liz and Rachel and a necklace by Ananda.  Don't miss this amazing group show.  See you then :)

Vegas!

I'm here in Vegas at both the JCK and Couture jewelry shows to find new designers for the gallery and reconnect with current ones.  Aside from terrible motion sickness I had on the flight over, it's been a great trip thus far!

At JCK, I picked up Pyrrha, a line of handcrafted silver and bronze talisman pendants made from 18th and 19th century wax seals.  The Vancouver designers, Wade Papin and Danielle Wilmore, utilize lost wax casting to create these pendants rich in symbolism. I love that there's a meaning behind each seal, as well as the rustic look of the pieces. I've been eyeing Pyrrha for over a year now, so I'm thrilled to welcome the collection this summer!

At Couture, I picked up a beautiful new gold line by Sara Freedenfeld, Amali Jewelry.  I've been coveting Sara's work for years, so I'm very excited to have her join the dmg family!  I love Sara's use of gold chains as a design element and her choice of stones!

In addition, I reordered from some of our favorites including Kelim, Toby Pomeroy, and Sethi Couture.  Now off to the pool :)
